WHAT WE DO

WHAT WE DO

Grace Kids

Saturday, during the main service

Our age-specific Children’s program takes place during the main service and provides a Children’s program as well as a light meal.

We desire to make Christ known to the children in our church and help them to develop a positive relationship with God and his Word. Our kids should experience church as an enjoyable place where they stand in truth as they experience the presence of God. Kids will learn the truths of scriptures through discussions and activities that are engaging, interactive and practical.

There is also a soundproof room with audio for parents with babies or toddlers.

Life Groups

Various Times and Locations

Our Bible studies are held in various languages and take place in different locations around the city in people’s homes.

It is our main goal to learn from each other and grow together in God’s word. We meet in small groups that allow us to get to know each other more personally, share prayer requests, and help us to strengthen our faith.

Men's Fellowship

Meets every 2 months in changing locations

Our Men meet bi-monthly, usually with some sort of BBQ, breakfast or some form of food involved to tackle the topics and challenges particularly relevant to them and their walks in following Jesus. We aim to grow our Men strong with purpose and direction in what following Jesus should really be like. We range from teenagers to grandfathers, so all ages are welcome.

Women's Fellowship

Bimonthly Meetings

Our ladies host a women’s only fellowship meeting every 2 months where women of different ages and dominations get to know each other and share witness of how God has miraculously worked in their lives. They get the opportunity to pray for each other in small groups where they can share their personal requests. It is rounded off with a delicious meal on a nicely decorated table and a present for every woman. This event is a great opportunity to invite visitors.

All ages are welcome. Translation and child care is usually provided.

Grace Teens

Every Second Friday at the Versöhnungskirche

The youth are our future, but they are not adults yet. They are full of questions, walking across that fragile blur from what they’ve been taught towards what they believe. Most modern cultures no longer have an official rite of passage; a ritual which clearly signifies the transition from child to adult, from girl to woman, from boy to man. In such an absence, we look to the Bible to tell us what it means to be a man or woman of God. We try to provide an environment in which young people can study the scriptures with a quizzical mind. They are free to ask any and all questions, without limitations or rejection. As leaders, we try to give answers to the best of our abilities, making it clear that we are far from perfect.

We are also children of God with limited understanding as long as we are here on earth. This is a learning process in which we believe that God and his word are the ultimate youth group leaders. Like it says in Corinthians 13: “11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
