Enabling People:

Definition:

A church that encourages and enables believers to put into practice what God puts on their heart.

Our Desire:

That our church works like a network where people feel encouraged, assisted and free to listen to God’s guidance and to contribute to a common cause.

We want to:

  • Experience the joy of doing the works that God has prepared
  • Listen to God’s speaking to us, both as a fellowship and individually
  • Give space to contribute according to the personality and gifts that God has given
  • Allow to try things out, assist and accompany each other

Bible Verses:

1. Thessalonians 2:4 "Just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God."

1. Corinthians 14:26 "When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all thigns be done for building up."

Acts 13:2-3 "While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off."

Ephesians 4:11-13 "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God."

Our Practice:

  • Installing a leadership structure that allows for participation and freedom
  • Encouraging initiative as well as coordination with the church and among each other
  • Building a ministry for counselling and character development
  • Offering or faciliating ministry training
